Training - Institute for the Sciences of Light
The Institute for the Sciences of Light has a project call for the funding of apprenticeships for engineering students from Paris-Saclay and proposed by laboratories within its perimeter.
The light sciences are covered by six doctoral schools:
- Waves and Matter Doctoral School (EDOM)
- Physique in Ile de France (PIF)
- Chemical Sciences: Molecules, Materials, Instrumentation and Bio Systems (2MIB)
- Electrical, Optical, Bio-Physics and Engineering (EOBE)
- "Astronomie et Astrophysique d’Ile-de-France" (AAIF)
- Mechanical and Energy Sciences, Materials and Geosciences (SMEMAG)
Two schools of the Université Paris-Saclay deliver engineering degrees specialized in photonics:
Furthermore, some courses at CentraleSupelec and Ecole Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay are related to light sciences.
