Laboratoire de Génétique et de biologie cellulaire (LGBC)

Laboratory presentation

The main research themes developed at LGBC concern on the one hand the modalities and regulation of cell death processes, in particular at the mitochondrial level, and on the other hand, the compensatory mechanisms involved in the maintenance of tissue homeostasis at following stress involving the mitochondria or endoplasmic reticulum. For this, we use cellular models of mammals and Drosophila.

At the same time, we are carrying out collaborative projects which notably use models mimicking pathologies in Drosophila.
