Objectives

Scientific Objectives

The main objective of this program is to enable students to master fundamental knowledge in physical chemistry and biology, which is essential for research and development in pharmaceutical formulation. This expertise will allow graduates to design innovative pharmaceutical dosage forms within multidisciplinary teams. Moreover, they will be capable of effectively collaborating with upstream teams, such as those specialized in chemistry, as well as with downstream teams responsible for biopharmaceutical evaluation, clinical studies, and industrial scale-up.

Professional Objectives

The “Pharmaceutical Technology and Biopharmacy” track aims to train specialists in the design, characterization, formulation, and development of pharmaceutical dosage forms, both in the pharmaceutical industry and in sectors related to biotechnology products.

Target Audience and Entry Requirements

Students who have completed a Master's 1 degree in Medicinal Sciences and Health Products or in a related field (e.g. Chemistry) at a university offering a level of education comparable to that of Paris-Saclay University, in France or in European Union countries, after validation of specific prerequisite knowledge by the Master's 2 programme coordinators;

- Students who have studied health sciences (pharmacy, medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine) in the European Union (and universities with agreements) and have completed the fifth year of study or an equivalent to an M1 degree.

- Students with an engineering degree equivalent to an M1 degree.

- Students from the INSERM School for the research track;

- Be under 30 years of age to be eligible for an apprenticeship contract in the apprenticeship track.
