The program prepares students to manage international cooperation policies by developing skills in strategic analysis, project and crisis management, communication, and advocacy. It combines academic courses and professional interventions with practical exercises. After six months of coursework, students choose either an internship or a semester at the Barcelona Institute of International Studies (IBEI).

It combines academic courses and expert-led sessions—offered in French or English—where practical exercises are emphasized. After completing the coursework, students proceed to a professional internship or a semester at the Barcelona Institute of International Studies (IBEI).

Skills

Students acquire advanced skills in critical and strategic analysis, as well as in managing complex projects and crises. They develop the ability to analyze international contexts, coordinate and negotiate among diverse actors (states, NGOs, international institutions), and formulate operational and strategic recommendations. The program also strengthens their professional communication, leadership, autonomy, and ability to integrate ethical and political considerations into decision-making.

Objectives

The program develops the critical, analytical, and strategic skills needed to implement cooperation policies (project and crisis management, communication, and advocacy). It trains students to understand international contexts, coordinate diverse actors, and formulate recommendations while strengthening their ethics, leadership, and autonomy.

Target Audience and Entry Requirements

Students come from IEPs (French political sciences institutes), law, political science, economics or more generally any studies related to international issues. Students must have a proven interest in these matters, shown over the course of their studies, and have spent at least six months abroad.
