Laboratoire de physique des gaz et des plasmas (LPGP)

Présentation du laboratoire

La recherche au LPGP se concentre sur l'étude des plasmas et gaz ionisés (plasmas chauds produits par la fusion thermonucléaire ou l'intéraction plasma-laser, et ce que l\'on appelle les plasmas froids). La grande diversité d'applications des plasmas implique que les chercheurs du LPGP dans de nombreux projets différents allant des traitements de surface (biologiques, métalliques, semi-conducteurs ou polymères) à la destruction de particules résiduelles, la diminution de la pollution de l'air (purification de l'air), l'analyse de particules contaminantes de surfaces, jusqu'à la fusion contrôlée. Le LPGP est donc un partenaire actif en étroite collaboration avec les autres centres de recherche académique, ainsi que des grands groupes industriels, PME et petites entreprises.
