Laboratory presentation
LPGP focuses its research on the study of plasmas and ionized gases (hot plasmas produced by thermonuclear fusion or laser-plasma interaction, as well as so-called cold plasmas). The large variety of plasma applications involves LPGP researchers in many different projects ranging from surface treatment (biological, metallic, semi-conducting or polymers) to the destruction of waste particles and air pollution decrease (air purificiation), the analysis of surface contaminating particles, or even controlled fusion. Therefore, the LPGP is an active partner in teight relation with other academic research centers, as well as industry-leading corporations and industries.
