Présentation du laboratoire

L'IDRIS est un centre d'excellence en calcul numérique intensif et en traitement des grandes masses de données scientifiques, au service de toutes les disciplines de la science. Il est le centre national du CNRS pour le calcul de haute performance et la simulation numérique. Pour le compte de la société civile GENCI (Grand équipement national de calcul intensif), il met à la disposition d'environ un millier de chercheurs et ingénieurs, appartenant à la communauté scientifique dans toutes ses disciplines, les moyens en calcul intensif parmi les plus puissants disponibles ainsi que les services et l'expertise qui leur sont associés.
