The University joins the international scientific and academic community in asking for the release of the anthropologist, Fariba Adelkhah, and the students, Ali Younesi and Amirhossein Moradi, currently detained in Iran.

Fariba Adelkhah, who was placed under house arrest in 2020 following 300 days in prison, was re-imprisoned in Tehran last week. Approximately twenty years old, Ali Younesi and Amirhossein Moradi were imprisoned in April 2020. For over eighteen months, they have been imprisoned awaiting trial.

We would like to express to them and their families our immense support and we sincerely hope that they will be released as quickly as possible.
