Institut droit éthique patrimoine (IDEP)

Laboratory presentation

The IDEP laboratory (institute of law, ethics and heritage) is organized around four research areas and fields of expertise: the Contract Law Department, the Business Law and Ethics Division, the Property Law Division and the Arbitrage and Litigation Division.
IDEP is particularly open to international research, it hosts visiting professors, PhD students or post-docs from Europe, North America, Latin America or Asia each year.
IDEP collaborates with foreign universities as well as with companies, institutions and legal professionals (notary studies, law firms).
Since 2009, the institute has developed expertise in business ethics, public life and the judicial world. This expertise is based on research tools (the observatories of corporate ethics, the observatory of group actions) and a legal support platform for citizens or companies through its legal clinic Paris-Saclay. Having first worked with large companies, IDEP now deplys its expertise as well to startups.
