Présentation du laboratoire
Le Laboratoire de Physique des 2 Infinis Irène Joliot-Curie (IJCLab) est né en 2020 de la fusion de 5 unités de recherches : CSNCM, IMNC, IPNO, LAL, LPT. Ses activités scientifiques sont structurées en 7 pôles scientifiques :
1- Astroparticules, Astrophysique et Cosmologie,
2- Physique des Accélérateurs,
3- Physique des Hautes Énergies,
4- Physique Nucléaire,
5- Physique Théorique,
6- Energie et environnement,
7- Santé.
Elles s’appuient sur un Pôle Ingénierie qui rassemble des services techniques de haute expertise, structurés en quatre départements dans les domaines de l’électronique, de l’informatique, de l’instrumentation et de la mécanique.
Cet ensemble représente un potentiel unique pour la conception, le développement et l’utilisation des instruments nécessaires aux défis scientifiques des décennies à venir (accélérateurs et détecteurs).
La présence d’un vaste ensemble d’infrastructures de recherche et de plateformes technologiques (Andromède, ALTO, Laserix, SCALP, Supratech), est également une caractéristique essentielle de l’IJCLab.
