Présentation du laboratoire

Le LGPM intervient sur deux champs d'investigation en étroite interaction : le Génie des Procédés et les Matériaux. Modélisation, simulation et expérimentation sont le socle commun des différents thèmes de recherche abordés. Cette complémentarité permet de partir de la compréhension des phénomènes microscopiques pour aboutir à la simulation, à l'optimisation et à l'intensification des procédés de transformation et d'élaboration. Le changement d'échelle et les approches multiéchelles sont au cœur de nos actions et constituent les voies privilégiées pour passer des études académiques aux applications industrielles.Notre savoir-faire, solidement ancré dans le génie des procédés, est appliqué à la production durable (économies de matière et d’énergie, optimisation et intensification) et à l'utilisation de ressources renouvelables (biotechnologies industrielles, matériaux biosourcés).
