Symphony orchestra created in 1976 at the Faculty of Science, bringing together 70 amateur musicians with a good level of proficiency with their instrument. The Orchestres du Plateau de Saclay (orchestras of the Saclay Plateau) were created in 2012 to gather the musicians from all schools, universities and companies on the Saclay plateau.
