TIPS

iTIPS is an improvisation group created in 2005. Its objective is to promote theatrical improvisation techniques such as "letting go", spontaneity, repartee, etc. and to teach those techniques to students or external people from all horizons. The association frequently organises performances throughout the school year, during which all members have the opportunity to perform on stage.

The most popular events of the association are the improvisation competitions, during which a team of 4 to 6 players from another group comes to face one of our teams during the one and a half hour show. The competition is accompanied by musicians and a referee who will be in charge of giving the topics that will determine the improvisations and of ensuring the respect and kindness of both teams.

Improvisation "cabarets" are also regularly organised in building 399 (MaPS): no other group is invited, TIPS is the only one performing and the types of show that are performed can be very different from one cabaret to another.
