Génomique métabolique - DRF/JACOB/Génoscope (GM)

Laboratory presentation

The Genomic Metabolic Unit is the basic research structure of the genoscope and the National Sequencing Centre (NSC). It is within this laboratory that studies are carried out ranging from the biodiversity of genomes to those of chemical reactions carried out by living organisms. The study focuses on understanding prokaryotic metabolism through the discovery of new chemical reactions catalyzed by living organisms, the discovery of new biocatalysts (green chemistry), the development of bacterial strains and the development of bioremediation processes.
