Upon completion of the program, you will be able to understand the legal, institutional and policy foundations of space activities.

Program structure

The program is structured around four complementary modules, forming a coherent learning pathway leading to the Executive Certificate.

Space sector and governance
Participants explore the space ecosystem, its public and private stakeholders, economic models, funding mechanisms and governance structures at national and international levels.

Space law and regulatory frameworks
This module covers the foundations of international space law, European and national legislation, and the regulation of satellite applications such as telecommunications and Earth observation.

Legal and contractual risk management
Participants learn to analyze space contracts, assess liability and insurance issues, and understand intellectual property, export control, customs and international sanctions in space projects.

Space policy, strategy and practical implementation
The final module focuses on national space policies, strategic analysis, security and sovereignty challenges. It includes a final integrative workshop based on a group simulation of a space project.
