Immunologie intégrative des tumeurs et immunothérapie des cancers (INTIM)

Présentation du laboratoire

Notre laboratoire a mis en évidence des éléments du microenvironnement tumoral (TME) impliqués dans la régulation de la réponse immunitaire anti-tumorale.

En effet, c’est un thème de recherche prenant en compte les antigènes tumoraux et la réactivité lymphocytaire T. Certaines de ces recherches ont par exemple apporté la preuve de concept sur l’efficacité d’une immunothérapie combinatoire fondée sur un vaccin peptidique issu de la préprocalcitonine (ppCT) et anti-PD-1 dans des modèles pré-cliniques de souris humanisées, ce qui a fait l’objet de la création d’une startup, ElyssaMed ( http://www.elyssamed.com).

Le second grand thème de recherche du laboratoire consiste à étudier l'impact du microenvironnement tumoral sur la résistance tumorale et son rôle dans la plasticité tumorale et la réactivité stromale.

A travers ses différents aspects, notre programme vise à mieux comprendre comment le TME influence le comportement et la fonction des effecteurs T, en particulier les TRM, et affecte la réponse clinique aux inhibiteurs de checkpoints.

Notre but est d’améliorer les immunothérapies anticancéreuses actuelles et contribuer ainsi au développement d’immunothérapies combinatoires plus efficaces.

Ce projet est fondé sur des expertises complémentaires de nos deux groupes, des collaborations fortes avec les cliniciens de Gustave Roussy et l’accès à ses différentes plateformes (https://www.gustaveroussy.fr/fr/plateformes-de-recherche-de-gustave-roussy).

Notre unité est attractive, appartient à plusieurs réseaux scientifiques et a établi différentes collaborations nationales et internationales
