The Graduate School Health and Drug Sciences invite you to a seminar "The Illicit Trade of Medical Products and its Control: A Criminological Perspective on Public Health" by Nikos PASSAS, Professor of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Northeastern University (Boston). The seminar will take place on 23rd April 2024 at Henri Moissan (room to be confirmed) and online.

The presentation will focus on the nature and extent of substandard and falsified medical products, diversion, theft and associated misconduct, undermining public health and adding rule of law and security risks. Nikos Passas will review the international standards currently available and conclude with research and policy implications.
