You have been accepted into the Mathematics Master's program of Université Paris-Saclay? Congratulation! We will provide all information you need for your arrival and your stay in France.
To prepare your arrival in France
You should have received an email from International Relations with an invitation to attend an online webinar taking place in July 2022. They will give you all information concerning housing, transportation, administrative procedures, health, mentoring program, social and cultural activities at the university and in the region.
If you were not able to attend, don't panic! On the international welcome desk page, you can find the main information.

With our app, get personalized information and a step-by-step calendar detailing all the necessary steps you must undertake before and upon your arrival in France.

Buddy Programme: a free mentoring program
You would like to meet local students, receive guidance upon your arrival and discover the French way of life? Be mentored by a local student or PhD candidate!
Thanks to the Buddy Programme you will also be able to participate in activities, intercultural workshops and make new friends!

The GATE, a specific welcome desk for foreign student
The GATE is a free comprehensive range of services, all gathered in one place, to guide you through your administrative procedures related to your settlement in France (visa or “titre de séjour”, bank account, social security number...). It will be open from August 29 to December 16, 2022, on the first floor of the Bréguet building on the CentraleSupélec campus in Gif-sur-Yvette (3 rue Joliot-Curie, Gif-sur-Yvette).

Back-to-school events

Informational meeting about internships or PhD for international students on Thursday, December 8th
You are an international second-year or first-year master's student at Paris-Saclay and have questions about internships, pursuing a Ph.D. in France, advisors, funding, and how everything relates? If you do, come to Orsay to share a coffee with volunteer international Ph.D. students who will share their knowledge and experience with you.
- When? On Thursday, December 8th, at 6 pm.
- Where? At IMO (building 307), on Orsay Campus, room 2L8.
- Who? International second-year and first-year master's student, international Ph.D. students. Local students are also welcome!

Welcome day on October 6th for all Université Paris-Saclay international students
Thursday afternoon October 6th at the MAPS on the Orsay campus, the Université Paris-Saclay welcomes all international students with stands for administrative procedures (GATE, CROUS, prefecture...), student associations, the buddy program, games, activities, goodies...
In the evening, a student party is organized.

International Welcome Meeting for international masters' and PhD students
Just arrived in France? Wondering how to get help with administrative procedures? Have questions about your mathematics study program? Want to meet other international math students? Come to the International Welcome Meeting! Several meeting points:
- Orsay: Thursday, October 20th at 6 pm in the room 2L15 (tea room on the 2nd floor of the LMO)
- Evry: Friday October 21th at 6 pm in the seminar room on the 4th floor of the IBGBI building
- Versailles: Friday October 21th at 5.30 pm in Amphi I in the Fermat building
