Welcome sessions for Master's students in Engineering

For more information, please contact your academic school.

  • M1 run by the Université d'Evry: Wednesday 3 September, morning (9am-12pm)
  • M1 and M2 run by CentraleSupelec: Thursday 4 September, morning (9am-12pm)
  • M2 run by the Université d'Evry: Monday 8 September in the afternoon (2pm to 5pm)
  • M1 and M2 run by the Faculty of Sciences of Orsay, ENS Paris-Saclay, and AgroParisTech: Thursday 18 September (2pm to 5pm) in Amphi A4 at HBar (building 625) on the Plateau de Saclay

The Master's student Community

New international students arriving at Université Paris-Saclay will be able to participate in:

  • Arrival Days at various university sites: Orsay Campus (1 September), Plateau/Gif-sur-Yvette Campus (4 September), UVSQ-Guyancourt (9 September), and Université d'Evry (10 September). Details and registration
  • Welcome Day on 25 September 2025: an evening dedicated to international students, starting at 6 p.m. at the RU des Cèdres. Information and registration

E-learning program with Busuu

A program to complement your language course. You can practice online at your own pace, according to your constraints, and obtain a European-level certificate. With a single account, you can practice up to 14 languages, including English, French as a Foreign Language (FLE), Russian, Arabic, Dutch, Italian, and more.

Forum Entreprise at Polytech Paris-Saclay in October

On Tuesday, 14 October 2025, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Forum Entreprise at Polytech Paris-Saclay will be held, giving you the opportunity to meet companies and land an internship, work-study programme or first job! The programme includes individual interviews, conferences, CV photo shoots, CV reviews, and more.

PhD information session in October

On Wednesday, 15 October from 6pm to 8pm, there will be an online information session for Master's students in engineering who are interested in pursuing a PhD: Where, when and how can I find my future thesis supervisor? How can I find funding? When should I start the process? etc. We will answer all your questions about PhD programmes.

CV and cover letter workshop in November

On Monday 10 November 2025, from 5.30 pm to 7 pm online, Master's students in Engineering will be able to take part in a CV and cover letter workshop to improve their internship and job search. Open to all.

Just Do Maths ! Portraits et rencontres de nos mathématiciennes contre les stéréotypes

Just Do Maths ! est une exposition de portraits de mathématiciennes de l’Université Paris-Saclay, qui voyagera en 2024 et 2025 sur différents campus (Orsay, Moulon, Évry et Versailles) de l'Université. Des événements d'inauguration (rencontres, conférences, tables rondes) auront lieu sur chaque site pour aborder la parité en mathématiques, notamment sous le prisme de l'expérience et de la place des femmes dans ce domaine.

Appels à projets liés à la formation

La Graduate School SIS propose un appel à projet à destination des responsables de formation pour soutenir et renforcer les actions mutualisées entre différents parcours de masters du périmètre de l'Ingénierie à destination des étudiant·es. 
Types de financements proposés :

  • Financement ou co-financement d’équipements de formation
    • Exemple : renouvellement ou création de TP ou acquisition d’outils de démonstration à destination des étudiant·es
    • Jusqu’à 20 k€
    • Date limite de soumissions 2025 : 15 septembre 2025
  • Séminaires et journées pédagogiques
    • Exemple : financer ou cofinancer une école, un séminaire (en lien avec les formations de master) ou un évènement
    • 2 000 € (max) pour un évènement et 1 000 € (max) pour un séminaire
    • Demandes faites au fil de l’eau

Advice on CVs, cover letters, and job interviews

The various Career Centres (listed above) offer internships, work-study programmes and jobs, as well as advice (in the form of appointments or workshops) on how to improve your CV and cover letter and conduct effective job interviews.

  • Contact the Career Centre of your institution to have more information about the initiatives in place.
  • A ‘CV and cover letter’ workshop will be held online on Monday, 10 November 2025 from 5.30 pm to 7 pm (link coming soon). Open to all.

Forum Entreprises à Polytech

Chaque année la Graduate School vous propose de participer au Forum Entreprises à Polytech sur le Plateau de Saclay. L'occasion d'avoir un espace privilégié pour rencontrer pendant une journée des entreprises du secteur pour décrochez un stage, une alternance ou un premier emploi ! Au programme : entretiens individuels, conférences, séances photo pour CV, corrections de CV,...

With Europass, you can:

Plateforme de logement CASA

La plateforme logement CASA de l’Université Paris-Saclay est dédiée aux étudiant·es et futurs étudiant·es de l’Université Paris-Saclay.

CASA recense régulièrement des offres de logement sur les différents campus de l’université, dont des logements proposés par le CROUS, des bailleurs publics et privés, des particuliers ou des associations de logement. Vous trouverez des logements en résidence universitaire, CROUS ou privée, chez l’habitant, en colocation ou encore contre services.

Klaro : 1 200 aides sur une seule et même plateforme

Plus de 1 200 aides (aides financières, avantages, subventions, bourses, aides alimentaires, aides au transport, aides au logement, aides spécifiques aux étudiants et aides de l’université) en provenance de l'Université Paris-Saclay et de dispositifs locaux et nationaux sont référencées et mises à jour quotidiennement. En quelques clics, découvrez les aides auxquelles vous avez droit en fonction de votre profil et laissez-vous guider dans vos démarches pour obtenir ces aides.

Alors le parrainage international est fait pour vous.  L'Université Paris-Saclay ne vous laisse pas seul.e et prévoit un accompagnement pour vous former et vous permettre de réaliser au mieux ce parrainage !

The GATE, a specific welcome desk for foreign student

The GATE is a free comprehensive range of services, all gathered in one place, to guide you through your administrative procedures related to your settlement in France (visa or “titre de séjour”, bank account, social security number...). It will be open from August 29 to December, 2025, on the first floor of the Bréguet building on the CentraleSupélec campus in Gif-sur-Yvette (3 rue Joliot-Curie, Gif-sur-Yvette).

The GATE is closed? Don't panic! You can contact the GATE team all year long (even if the GATE room is closed) by email or by phone and schedule a personalized appointment if needed:
