Practical information


The Graduation Ceremony of the Masters in Engineering class 2024 / 2025 will take place on Friday, May 29th at 2:30 pm at the Michelin Amphitheatre of the Eiffel Building of CentraleSupelec, 8 Rue Joliot Curie, 91190 Gif-sur-Yvette.

Please note: You are invited to arrive from 1.30 pm for the ceremony to start at 2.30 pm. If you are late, the organizing team cannot guarantee you access to the ceremony.


There are several ways to come to the CentraleSupélec campus in Gif-sur-Yvette.

Please note:

  • Underground car park code: coming soon

  • Address of underground car park

  • As spaces in the underground car park are limited, please arrive early or use public transport.

  • The numerous works on the campus mean that journey times are longer.

  • You are invited to attend from 1.30pm. Please make arrangements to arrive at 1.30pm. If you are late, the organizing team will not be able to guarantee you access to the ceremony.

BY PLANE

From Orly airport (about 1 hour)

  1. Take the ORLYVAL to Antony

  2. Then RER B direction "Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse", stop at "Le Guichet"

  3. Then Bus 9 direction "Campus HEC / Christ de Saclay", stop at "Moulon” 

From Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport (about 2 hours)

  1. Take the RER B direction "Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse",  stop at "Le Guichet"

  2. Then Bus 9 direction "Campus HEC / Christ de Saclay", stop at "Moulon” 

BY TRAIN OR PUBLIC TRANSPORT

RER B from Paris (about 1 hour - 1 hour and a half)

  1. Take RER B direction "Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse", stop at "Le Guichet"

Registration is free but compulsory to allow the Graduate School team to organize the event in the best possible way according to the number of people (cocktail party, seating arrangement...).

The ceremony will be broadcast live on Youtube to enable the rest of your family and friends to follow the event from a distance.

Your INE number appears on your academic transcripts and student card. If you can't find it, you can contact your academic secretariat.

Program (course of the ceremony, diploma collection, duration...)

 

  • From 1:00 p.m. to 2:15 p.m.: diplomas will be handed out by the academic departments at the dedicated stands.
  • From 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.: seating in the Michelin lecture theatre.
  • From approximately 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.: ceremony with speeches, roll call, photos on stage, testimonials from graduates, music, etc.
  • From 4.30pm/5pm: cocktail reception, photos, etc.

The event will be held in French.


You can collect your diploma against signature between 1 p.m. and 2.15 p.m., before the ceremony begins at 2.30 p.m.

Each institution/department (Faculty of Sciences of Orsay, CentraleSupelec, ENS Paris-Salay, Université d'Evry, Université de Versailles, AgroParisTech, etc.) will have a stand where you can collect your diploma in person upon signing for it with the registrar's office.

You must bring proof of identity (passport or French identity card) to collect your diploma.

No, no dress code is imposed, but proper clothes are expected.


On the day of the ceremony, you will be given a white scarf to wear around your neck for the group photos.
The black hat and robes are reserved for doctoral degrees.


Yes, the ceremony will be photographed, filmed and broadcast live on the graduate school's YouTube channel so that your family and friends can follow the event remotely. The link to connect will be sent by email on the day.
