Université Paris-Saclay awarded the third star of the “Bienvenue en France” label

Université Paris-Saclay awarded three stars - the highest level of the “Bienvenue en France” label - by Campus France, in recognition of the quality of its welcome and support for international students.

First awarded the label in 2019 at the two-star level (under the former entity Paris-Sud University), Université Paris-Saclay has now been granted the third star of the “Bienvenue en France” label this year. 

This distinction recognises the concrete actions implemented to welcome and support international students, and highlights the quality of initiatives such as:

• individual interviews conducted before students’ arrival in France, and the provision of a digital support platform - the 24/7 Online Welcome Desk.
• multi-site “Arrival Days welcome events, partnerships with banks and insurance providers, a festive “Welcome Day” evening, and dedicated support sessions for administrative procedures, notably within the GATE Paris-Saclay framework.
• the Buddy Programme, an international mentoring scheme, French conversation workshops, and socio-cultural events designed to facilitate integration in France and across our campuses.
• student life services providing support for housing, healthcare, and sports activities
• a dedicated international welcome network available across the entire Université Paris-Saclay community (associated universities, grandes écoles, and university components), complemented by an "International Welcome Ambassadors" training programme for staff.

International students are a valuable asset to our university: they enrich our teaching and research environments and carry the spirit and values of Université Paris-Saclay across the world.
