Ceremony for the new members of the Academy of Sciences: Agnès Barthélémy, Guy David and Pascale Senellart-Mardon among the laureates

On Tuesday 6 June 2023, the prestigious French Academy of Sciences elected eighteen new members following the end of the elections organised in 2022. The new members were officially appointed during a ceremony held under the impressive cupola of the Palais de l’Institut de France.

Congratulations to the following new members linked to Université Paris-Saclay:

 

Agnès Barthélémy, Professor at Université Paris-Saclay, lecturer and researcher at the CNRS/Thales joint physics laboratory (UMPhy – Univ. Paris-Saclay, CNRS, Thales) and specialist in oxitronics

Guy David, Professor at Université Paris-Saclay, lecturer and researcher at the Orsay Mathematics Laboratory (LMO – Univ. Paris-Saclay, CNRS) and specialist in partial differential equations

Pascale Senellart-Mardon, researcher in Quantum Physics at the Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (C2N – Univ. Paris-Saclay, CNRS, Univ. Paris Cité) and specialist in nanoscience, the physics of semiconductors and quantum optics.
