The program is designed to provide the knowledge and skills needed to pursue various careers in business and innovation research in a changing world towards a desirable future. The program consists of a core curriculum of approximately 200 hours between September and January, and a 100-hour corporate research project. The core curriculum is supplemented by a 75-hour technology course of the student's choice, designed to provide an understanding of the challenges facing the environment and health sectors. The complementary nature of research, technology, and management opens up more opportunities for M2 IPEV students. Upon completion of the program, graduates can pursue careers in various sectors (agri-food, pharmaceuticals, public health, etc.) or doctoral theses.

  • Students are immediately employable in companies or public institutions, both nationally and internationally.
  • They are prepared to work in multicultural teams in complex socio-economic and technological environments.
  • They have the ability to develop a research strategy, a business activity, or an innovative and sustainable project, and an entrepreneurial mindset (start-up or takeover).
  • They are proficient in strategies and methods of governance, risk anticipation and assessment (financial, environmental, societal, economic, etc.), innovation, and decision support in a changing world.
  • They are able to adopt a reflective, ethical, open, and scientific approach in the life sciences sectors (food, health, biotechnology, environment).

Objectives

The learning objectives of the M2 IPEV are aligned with those of the IES program to which it belongs, namely to train students from the social sciences, sciences, and engineering schools in innovation management, research promotion, and digital transformation. The M2 IPEV is shared with the AgroParisTech engineering major. It enables students to develop a systemic and sustainable vision of the life sciences industry, innovation, and performance in a world undergoing transition (digital, environmental, societal, health, and agri-food).
