M1 International Business and Sustainability (MIBS)
The International Business & Sustainability program is designed to train executives and consultants specialized in the development of international activities, systematically integrating sustainability concerns into these activities. Within a truly multicultural learning environment, the program prepares students to understand and analyze the complex interactions between companies, markets, and international cultural and institutional environments.
The objective is to provide them with the concepts, methods, and tools needed to design and implement global strategies, lead multicultural projects, and adapt to the economic, geopolitical, ecological, and technological transformations of global trade. The aim is to develop:
- Good knowledge of business systems and processes at both strategic and operational levels;
- Strong understanding of the global business environment, and its recent major trends;
- Applied management skills in international settings;
- Comprehensive view of business functions (human resource management, marketing, operations, supply chain, and more);
In addition, the MIBS program provides students with cross-disciplinary skills such as excellent:
- Synthesis and analysis capabilities
- Organizing and project management skills
Methodological skills
Understand the context, acquire the knowledge base and proficiently use basic management tools.
The MIBS program takes place over two years, structured around a Master 1 (M1) and a Master 2 (M2). All courses are taught in English, reflecting the program's international dimension. FLE courses can be organized with the aim of obtaining a French certification at the end of the master’s degree.
MIB is for those who are looking to start or accelerate a career in international business. As a general management prorgam, the opportunities include all types of management positions in large international groups and in various sectors:
- project manager,
- IT manager,
- Logistics manager,
- Purchasing manager,
- Marketing and communication manager,
- engineer in charge of business,
- Sales manager,
- customer service representative.
The knowledge acquired and the skills developed with this program also make it possible to carry out an international business creation project.
The MIBS program is open to students holding a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification, preferably in management, economics, international studies, or social sciences. A minimum C1 level in English is required, certified by tests such as TOEIC, TOEFL, or IELTS.. Candidates must also demonstrate a strong interest in international issues and the sustainability of economic activities and have the ability to operate in multicultural environments. Selection is based on applications, generally followed by an interview.
The MIBS program can host incoming English-speaking students at Université Paris-Saclay. A minimum A2/B1 level of French proficiency is required, but this initial level can be improved through French as a Foreign Language (FLE) courses and may be formally certified if necessary.

A three- to six-month internship in internationally oriented companies. This internship allows students to apply the concepts studied to real-life situations.

Master 2 graduates can obtain various positions in large groups or SME-SMIs, in France or abroad. The positions held are management positions in various sectors, all over the world:
- business manager,
- project manager,
- IT manager,
- marketing and communication manager,
- engineer in charge of business,
- sales manager,
- account manager,
- company manager, etc.
The knowledge acquired and the skills developed with this program also make it possible to carry out an international business creation project.
Specific tuition fees apply (6200 euros per year - M1 and M2), including access to all university facilities and an off campus seminar (informal events are also frequently organized). These fees apply to all students, regardless of their nationality. The fees can be paid in installments between the time of registration and December 31st.
