THE World University Rankings 2024: Université Paris-Saclay climbs 35 spots

Université Paris-Saclay has climbed to the 58th position in the Times Higher Education World University Ranking 2024, making it the ranking’s second best French university after PSL which holds the 40th spot.

The Times Higher Education World University Ranking is published annually by the company TES Global Limited, and evaluates 1,900 institutions in 104 different countries and regions. The results are based on a survey which assesses university reputation, quality and missions, according to 13 indicators divided into 5 broad areas: teaching, research environment, research quality, industry, and international outlook.

This latest ranking confirms the university’s strong performances in other international university rankings published earlier this year (QS, the Academic Ranking of World Universities) and acts as a recognition of the university’s excellent assets in research and teaching.
