Université Paris-Saclay at EAIE: at the heart of international cooperation in higher education and research

The 2026 EAIE Conference and Exhibition (European Association for International Education) is a key event for higher education and international university cooperation professionals. This year’s edition brought together 7,300 participants from more than 100 countries, highlighting the event’s international reach.

Université Paris-Saclay represented on a joint stand

From 8 to 11 September, a delegation from Université Paris-Saclay travelled to Glasgow, UK, for the 2026 edition, with the aim of strengthening its international partnerships, developing new academic and scientific collaborations, and promoting its education and research offering internationally.

Alongside the International and European Affairs Office, several member institutions of Université Paris-Saclay were present to showcase the diversity of the university: AgroParisTech, CentraleSupélec, ENS Paris-Saclay, Université d’Évry, and Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines.

EUGLOH showcasing Université Paris-Saclay’s European reach

The event provided an opportunity to highlight Université Paris-Saclay’s commitment to the European EUGLOH alliance (European University Alliance for Global Health), which it coordinates, in particular by showcasing opportunities for education, mobility and cooperation. EUGLOH was among the European university alliances represented at the exhibition, which brought together around 30 such alliances.

An opportunity to strengthen ties with higher education institutions and institutional partners

The event provided an opportunity to prepare for Université Paris-Saclay’s next mission to the UK, scheduled for the end of September, discuss cooperation opportunities and developments in the Erasmus+ programme with partners, and continue discussions initiated during recent international missions to Japan and South Korea.

An initial meeting with the University of Amsterdam, which will join the EUGLOH alliance on 1 January 2027, provided an opportunity to begin discussions on establishing Erasmus+ agreements. The visit to Glasgow also provided an opportunity to reconnect with several partners from the global U21 network at a reception dedicated to strengthening international cooperation.

Through its participation in EAIE, Université Paris-Saclay reaffirms its commitment to the internationalisation of its education, research and partnerships, while continuing to strengthen its profile at European and international level.
