QS Sustainability Ranking 2026: Université Paris-Saclay strengthens its position in France and worldwide
On Tuesday, 18 November, Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) released its latest edition of the global university sustainability rankings. Once again this year, Université Paris-Saclay stands out as the top French university in the field and one of the leading institutions worldwide.
Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), a British company specializing in international higher education, launched the “Sustainability” ranking in 2022, based on universities’ actions in the field of sustainable development. To assess these actions and ensure they address environmental, social, and governance challenges, QS examined each institution’s environmental impact, social impact, and quality of governance.
Among the 60 French institutions contributing, each in their own way, to a more sustainable world, Université Paris-Saclay once again stands out by claiming the top spot nationally. The university also maintains its position among the global and European TOP 50, ranking 28th in Europe and 45th worldwide.
