Daniel Shulz receives the Nature Award for Mentoring in Science

Daniel Shulz has been awarded a Nature Award for Mentoring in Science by the journal Nature, in the Lifetime achievement category.

Daniel Shulz will receive the award in recognition of his many mentoring achievements, during a ceremony which will be held at the Collège de France on 19 March 2024. Daniel Shulz is a CNRS research director and Head of the Department of Integrative and Computational Neuroscience (ICN – Univ. Paris-Saclay/CNRS) at the Paris-Saclay Institute of Neuroscience.

Since 2005, the annual Nature Awards for Mentoring in Science have recognised scientists who have made outstanding contributions to mentoring early-career scientists. Each year the awards focus on one or more countries, ensuring that scientists from all parts of the world are recognised for their contributions to scientific development.
