Academic year 2026

The start of the academic year is an exciting and busy time for students on the campuses of Université Paris-Saclay. A wide range of activities are organised from August to September, including the Welcome Day, campus tours, start of the year induction presentations…

The university organises numerous events to ensure that the start of the year goes as smoothly as possible for its students and that they can embark on their studies with peace of mind. Welcome Day

On 24 September 2026, the University is organising a Welcome Day for all students from the faculties, IUTs, schools and associated member universities (UVSQ, University of Evry).

All the essential information you need to get off to a good start and make a success of your academic year will be available:

Information on student life, societies, sports, cultural activities and local life at the University

Information on accommodation, catering, transport, facilities and financial support

This welcome day will be followed by a social evening in Building 337 (Orsay campus), reserved for international students, who will be welcomed upon prior registration.

The Prevent Week

The Prevent'Week is the university’s annual health festival. It is a free event and takes place on the university’s four campuses. It aims to raise awareness about student health in a fun and interactive way. The event is organised around different areas, with stands dedicated to various health prevention issues: sexual health, mental health, physical activity, prevention of risks in party environments, etc.
