The International and European Law specialization offers a progressive specialization in international and European law to students selected at the end of their law degree.

The International and European Law specialization enables students with a law degree to progressively specialize in international and European law. It is structured around two Masters 1: the M1 International and European Law - General Course, which leads to five M2s (Diplomacy and Strategic Negotiations, International and European Law of Fundamental Rights, Human Rights and Humanitarian Law, Human Rights and Business, Business and European Union Law), and the M1 International and European Affairs, which leads to two M2s (Arbitration and International Trade, Competition and Contract Law). This structured pathway ensures pedagogical coherence and gradual specialization towards legal careers with an international and European dimension.

The programs cover both solid disciplinary knowledge and skills and cross-disciplinary skills:

  • Ability to analyze complex legal standards in an international or European context,
  • Understanding of the sources of law in their international and European context,
  • Skilled in written legal documents: consultations, notes, summaries, contracts, decisions,
  • Able to understand the workings of European and international institution,
  • Ability to conduct a legal watch at national, European and global level,
  •  Ability to manage international or European litigation, depending on course.
