Artificial Intelligence Exhibition at the Lumen
The Lumen, a public institution encompassing the Palais de la Découverte and the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie, is organizing an exhibition on the theme of "Artificial Intelligence." This exhibition is part of the cultural and scientific programming of the Lumen - Université Paris-Saclay.
The Artificial Intelligence exhibition at Lumen brings together two exhibitions: Science Actualités (Cité des sciences et de l'industrie) and DataIA (Université Paris-Saclay), as well as artworks by Audrey SEDANO (Author and Illustrator):
Science Actualités: AI at Risk of Overheating
Generative AI is revolutionizing creation, communication, education, copyright, employment... Laws, however, are struggling to regulate this booming sector. An overview of the promises and risks of a technological revolution whose consequences are already felt daily.
DataIA-Paris-Saclay University: AI, a Not-So-Recent History
Discover the history of AI from the early 1950s (the dawn of computing), through the 2000s (the expansion of the internet and Big Data), to 2020 (the invention of new ways to use neural networks).
Audrey SEDANO (Author and Illustrator): For the artworks in the exhibition
After earning a PhD in bioinformatics from École Polytechnique, Audrey Sedano founded Editions du Petit Saturnin, a publisher of audio comics in Angoulême, as well as the Showroom57 art gallery. She promotes French heritage by blending art, cultural heritage, and augmented reality. Today, she juggles her comic book publications, the design of exhibitions about French heritage, and her various artistic creations.
