M1 Life sciences and health - med track
Year 1 (M1) of Life sciences and health - med track is designed for students either currently studying Medicine or Pharmacy in France or already MD (France or International). The M1 programme is mainly taught in French from October to mi-July.
* mandatory courses in Genomics/Genetics, Cell Biology, Signalisation and Biochemistry, Informatics (12.5 ECTS)
* scientific English (5 ECTS)
* optional courses to specialise in any biological fields (around 100 are available) (7.5 ECTS)
* MD/ Pharmacy degree (35 ECTS)
This programme has a limited number of seats and is therefore selective.

To link a medical condition to fundamental biological processes.
To explain a medical condition and/or treatment to a patient from a biological and mechanistic point of view.
To detect therapeutic potential in a biological discovery.
Students learn how to work independently, to collaborate in a team, and to critically analyse scientific results in French and English. Thanks to specialised teaching units, they are able to explain complex biological processes related to physiopathology.
Openings include access to numerous M2 study paths in the field of Biology-Health.
