The MCAO master's programme aims to train experts in management control and organisational auditing who are capable of mastering all control and auditing tools and adapting to all types of organisations and, above all, to their evolution.
The programme focuses on the operational implementation of strategy.
Theoretical and practical teaching enables students to:
- understand and comprehend the organisation, governance and strategy of the company;
- articulate this understanding with each of the responsibility centres, particularly in budgetary terms;
- monitor the company's progress along the desired management trajectory;
- propose innovations that promote value creation and cost optimisation, taking into account, in particular, environmental and technological changes

Upon completion of their training, students should be able to:
- evaluate, assess and critique diagnostic, control and organisational management tools;
- participate in the definition and implementation of global, business and operational strategy;
- design, audit and implement strategic, accounting and financial management tools to support overall performance;
- supervise and lead teams in line with the strategic guidelines that have been established;
- design and implement a research project consistent with their area of specialisation.
Objectives
The ‘Management, Control and Organisational Audit’ (MCAO) programme aims to train, through work-study programmes, high-level managers who have acquired managerial skills in steering and control. These managers will have the skills and knowledge to progress to team management and profit centre and/or service management positions. At the end of their training, students will be able to implement both the organisational and budgetary procedures and the tools for measuring and analysing overall performance necessary to ensure their sustainability in a national and/or international context.

Target Audience and Entry Requirements
To be admitted to the programme, candidates must hold a Master's degree, or equivalent four-year degree, in management sciences with a focus on management control, financial management and/or accounting, which has been fully validated. Access is exceptionally open to students with a background in science, economics, law or management with another specialisation who wish to complete their studies in management and whose degree is recognised as equivalent to a four-year degree. These students must have demonstrated excellence in their original field and their skills must be applicable to a future position as a management controller (with a focus on management) or in the context of a doctoral thesis.
