This program prepares students for the competitive examination known as "Agrégation" to become a certified teacher in biochemistry, biology, and biotechnology. The competitive examination is administered by the French Ministry of Education.
However, there is a sub-track for students who do not wish to take the competitive examination but would like to benefit from extensive training in the fields of biochemistry, biology, and biotechnology.
Training organized according to the Agrégation BBB :
- Theoretical training and preparation for the competitive examination from late August to February
- Preparation for the admission tests from March to late May for the Agrégation BBB
- Laboratory research internship and educational transposition work

Objectives
This training program is based on the M1-level biology and biotechnology science curriculum.
The objectives are:
to acquire theoretical and practical knowledge in the scientific fields covered by the Agrégation BBB to
- acquire writing and summarizing skills in preparation for the written exams
- acquisition of skills in analyzing various types of scientific documents (figures from research articles, articles, scientific journals, etc.)
- acquisition of public speaking skills for the oral admission exams
- acquisition of a broad (bio)technological culture
- fluency in reading scientific bibliographies (from international books, articles, and scientific journals)
- for the “higher education” sub-course: implementation of a pedagogical transposition project for the creation of a teaching unit in higher education, based on research laboratory experience carried out in the second semester.
- for the “Agrégation BBB” course: Analysis of professional practices during a teaching observation internship in a high school.

Target Audience and Entry Requirements
- Have completed a Bachelor's degree and a Master's 1 degree comprising a maximum of theoretical and practical teaching related to the Biochemistry, Biology, and Biotechnology Agrégation program.
- Have a desire to teach (in highscool in the Laboratory Sciences and Techniques technology stream, Biotechnology option, and in the associated BTS or CPGE TB programs).
