POEMES (Paris Ouest Etudiants en MEdecine Solidarité)

POEMES is a solidarity association which carries out actions in three branches.

The first branch is Local Solidarity: we organise solidarity projects with a national scope at the local level, such as Telethon, Sidaction, Movemeber, blood donation or a disability awareness week. We also organise projects that are less in the spotlight, like roaming the streets to help homeless people, the Animavie network and charity races.

The second branch is International Solidarity:  students who are members of our association have the opportunity to spend the summer in the country of their choice to work on a solidarity project (bring equipment or carry out renovation work to improve the living conditions for example).

The third branch is the Gala: we organise a fancy evening in November and donate all profits to an association chosen by the board of POEMES.
