La Cinquième Parallèle

The Cinquième Parallèle is the LGBTIQ+ club of the ENS Paris-Saclay, which aims to raise students' awareness on issues regarding the LGBTIQ+ community. The club is part of the student union, was created in 2010 and brings together members of a wide range of ages and departments of the ENS.

Members of the association meet regularly to discuss various projects and social issues.

The Cinquième Parallèle is part of the Caélif (group of LGBT+ student associations in the Île-de-France region). In close collaboration with other student or non-student associations, the club regularly visits specific locations in Paris to discover its queer culture. It is also present in the student gatherings of the different parades defending the rights of the LGBTIQ+ community.
