Bibliometric tools

Université Paris-Saclay subscribes to the following bibliographic and bibliometric tools: Scopus and Scival, Web of Science (WoS) and Incites.

Scopus and SciVal

Scopus is a database of bibliographic citations and abstracts from interdisciplinary scientific publications (journals, articles, book collections, conference proceedings, etc). Scopus was created in 2004 by the scientific publisher Elsevier.
SciVal is an analysis and benchmarking tool, which produces bibliometric indicators based on Scopus bibliographic data. The tool is intended for researchers, units and institutions wishing to understand the progress of their research, with links, partnerships and their research themes. It provides advanced analysis and visualisation tools for research activity.

How do you access these tools?

  • Access to Scopus (authentication required with your Université Paris-Saclay login)
  • Go through Scopus to access SciVal. Account creation is required.

Web of Science and InCites

Web of Science is a platform for bibliographic and citation databases from scientific publications in all fields. The Web of Science is published by the company Clarivate.
InCites is an analysis and benchmarking tool, which provides advanced analysis based on Web of Science bibliographic data. Use of this tool is also intended for institutions, universities and researchers. It helps them to understand the progress of their research, with links, partnerships and their research themes.  

How to access these tools?

  • Access to the Web of Science (authentication required with your Université Paris-Saclay login)
  • To access InCites, go to the Web of Science. Account creation is required.
