Preventive medical consultation
Student health is essential to their well-being and academic success.
The Student Health Service welcomes you throughout the academic year at various Université Paris-Saclay campuses, with no upfront payment required, upon presentation of your student ID card and in complete confidentiality. Our teams are here to answer your questions, help you overcome any difficulties you may face, and offer a wide range of preventive health activities.
Why Visit the Student Health Service (SSE)?
Do you have a medical question? Are you looking for advice on your diet? Would you like to discuss sleep problems? Do you need a medical certificate? Are you feeling anxious and need someone to talk to? Would you like to take care of your sexual health?
The Student Health Service takes a holistic approach to health through its multidisciplinary team. Beyond illness, our focus is on you as a student, your resilience, and what can help you succeed in your studies while maintaining good physical and mental health, regardless of your year of study or campus.
Health and Well-being: (non-therapeutic services)
- Preventive health check-ups for students
- Preventive medical consultations (non-therapeutic) for international students from non-European countries, students enrolled in healthcare programmes or courses involving specific health risks
- Preventive medical consultations (non-therapeutic) for any student who wishes to attend
- Academic and examination accommodations for students with disabilities
- Medical certificates (sports, internships, etc.)
- Vaccination monitoring
Improving Your Well-being: (non-therapeutic services)
- Individual consultations with a psychologist
- Contraception consultations and preventive gynaecological care
- Nursing consultations, support and care
- Nutritional advice
- Smoking cessation support and consultations for young people with substance use concerns
- Group prevention and health promotion activities
When and How Can You Contact the SSE?
- By invitation or at your own request, at any time during the academic year
- By booking an appointment online through Doctolib, selecting the type of consultation and location (your affiliated institution)
- By phone or email, contacting the SHS Health Centre at your institution
- In person, during the opening hours of your institution's SHS Health Centre
Appointments with healthcare professionals at the Student Health Service Health Centres can be booked directly online.
Online booking is exclusively available to students enrolled in the faculties and University Institutes of Technology (IUTs) of Université Paris-Saclay, as well as Polytech and AgroParisTech.
