Second edition of the Buddy Programme Call for projects: 3 projects for 2022
After a first successful edition in 2020, the 2021 Buddy Programme Call for Projects was launched in June 2021 and 3 projects were selected for the 2021/2022 academic year. They will be carried out during the second semester by the 3 student associations who submitted a project for the international students of Paris-Saclay.
Several opportunities for Buddies to meet and exchange
In a period when in-person events are possible again, the goal of the Call for projects was to support initiatives of student associations, institutions or Graduate Schools contributing to the integration of international students of Université Paris-Saclay.
Three projects will be implemented this year:
Paris c’est d’Art, organised by the student association Chercheurs d’Art(chéologie) of the UVSQ
After the Rivoli area in June 2021, the members of the association will guide the Buddies through Montmartre, to show them different artistic or historical locations. After discovering the history of the buildings, the participants will recreate them in their artist's book, with drawings and photographs.
International checkpoint at the 2022 Night N' Day, organised by the association Raid CentraleSupélec.
The Night N' Day is a race organised by a student association in the Paris-Saclay area, on February 18th and 19th, 2022. Checkpoints are set along the way so that the participants can take a break - one of the checkpoints will consist of a buffet with food from different countries, where participants and members of the association will have the opportunity to talk in English.
Visit of Paris, organised by the association OKB at the Faculty of Medecine
The students of the Buddy Programme will visit the Museum of the History of Medicine and Paris, before going on a boat tour on the famous bateau-mouches on the Seine.
All the information about the events will be available here and on the 2021/2022 Buddy Programme Facebook group. We hope to see many of you participate!
