Forbes 50 Over 50: a figure linked to Université Paris-Saclay in the ranking

On 15 April 2025, the magazine Forbes and L’Oréal Paris revealed the 50 Over 50 list, which showcases highly successful women aged 50 and over. A figure from Université Paris-Saclay is among those on the list.

Keen to give greater visibility to inspiring women, the magazine Forbes and L’Oréal Paris have decided to launch the 50 Over 50 list to celebrate the accomplishments of 50 exceptional women aged 50 and over. Among the 50 nominees is Hakima Berdouz, who is linked to Université Paris-Saclay.

Hakima Berdouz is an alumna from the Faculty of Science at Université Paris-Saclay, who graduated with a Master’s degree in Computational Modelling and Risk Engineering in 1995. She is the founder of the start-up Hope Valley AI, which emerged from research carried out at the Institute of Applied Sciences and Simulation for Low-Carbon Energies (Isas – Univ. Paris-Saclay/CEA). The start-up develops an artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted screening solution capable of predicting and detecting breast cancer at an early stage, as well as a dedicated application.
