Elias Fattal receives the SITELF International Award 2026

On 26 March, the Italian Society of Pharmaceutical Technology (SITELF) awarded the SITELF International Award 2026 to Elias Fattal.

This award, presented by an international jury of 33 leading scientists from 14 countries, was given to him at the 15th World Meeting on Pharmaceutics, Biopharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology, held in Prague from 23 to 26 March 2026. On this occasion, Elias Fattal presented his research on nanomedicine strategies aimed at improving the effectiveness of drugs in the treatment of inflammatory diseases.

Elias Fattal is emeritus professor of pharmaceutics at Université Paris-Saclay. He directed the Institut Galien Paris-Saclay (Université Paris-Saclay/CNRS) from 2010 to 2019 and is currently a member of the INPACT team (Particle and Cellular Engineering for Therapeutic Purposes).

A member of the Académie nationale de pharmacie, a corresponding member of the Académie nationale de médecine, and a fellow of both the European Academy of Sciences and the Controlled Release Society, he is also the recipient of two awards from the Académie des sciences, received in 2016 and 2018.
