Medical Care for PhD and International Students

Specific conditions apply to the provision of medical care for PhD students, as well as international exchange students studying in France.

PhD Students

If you are a PhD student working in one of the University's research units or laboratories, you may be eligible for healthcare services provided by your designated Occupational Health Service (also known as the "Preventive Medical Service"). You can receive support from a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including an occupational health physician, nurse, psychologist, dietitian and addiction specialist.

To obtain the contact details of your designated Occupational Health Service, you should first contact the health and safety officer (assistant de prévention) of your research unit or laboratory. Alternatively, you can contact the Preventive Medical Service, located at: Building 452 - 305 Rue du château 91400 Orsay (service.medical452@universite-paris-saclay.fr)
