Information and Communication Technologies

(optoelectronics, optical fibers…)

Photonics brings together research activities that focus on the development and implementation of architectures allowing the generation, detection and control of photons. Thanks to optical fibers, it is currently the most relevant approach to efficiently transmit information over long distances. The work carried out within ISL aims at the development of optical or optoelectronic devices operating in the infrared or the THz as well as in the field of visible wavelength range.
