Pedagogical Innovation at Paris-Saclay University

Political Vision

As part of the Paris-Saclay University’s teaching and learning strategy, the pedagogical innovation’s policy is focused on students’ success and on supporting the pedagogical commitment linked to research and reflective approaches. The four strategic priorities are the elaboration of pedagogical best practices, the deployment of the competency-based approach up to evaluation by competency, the support and training of professors and academia and the enhancement of pedagogical commitment, as well as the distribution, the spin-off, and the valorization of pedagogical experiences, initiatives, innovations, and transformation.

Managing Pedagogical Innovation

Pedagogical innovation at Paris-Saclay University is supported and managed collectively by the Department of Pedadogical Innovation, project managers reporting to the University’s Vice Presidency, Pedagogical Innovation correspondants from coordination structures (i.e., Graduate Schools and Écoles Universitaires), support services, component institutions, as well as associate member universities. This integrative vision is managed at the University level by a Strategic Orientation Committee that brings together and coordinates efforts from all members mentioned above.
