Since the emprisonment and the death of Jina Mahsa Amini, Iran lives a shear revolution. This exhibition offers a choice of drawings by Kianoush Ramezani and Mana Neyestani, 2 Iranian cartoonists now in exile in Europe who covered, almost every day, the events in Iran with their drawings. This exhibition shows how "Woman, Life, Freedom" Revolution started and how this brand new movement takes place in the history of contemporary Iran. It talks about the gestures that the Iranian population seized since September 2022 and some of the personnalities who got even more popular as they supported Mahsa's revolution in public.

Kianoush Ramezani, born in 1973 in northern Iran, is a militant artist now living between France and Finland as a refugee. He had to leave Iran in December 2009 after he shed light on Ahmadinejad clan's electoral fraud. Only a few months before the terrorist attack on Charlie Hebdo, he spoke about cartoon as "the art of danger". In 2015, he created the organization United Sketches to help exiled cartoonists and defend freedom of speach all around the world. He won the LiberPress prize in 2022.

Mana Neyestani was born in Tehran in 1973. He studied architecture before he chose to work as an illustrator. When reforming newspapers developed in Iran in 1999, he specialized in press drawing. In 2006, he was jailed because of one of his cartoons and he fled afterwards in France. He wrote several books and got in 2012 the International Cartoon Award.
