The M1’s program in Applied Mathematics offers advanced training in probability, stochastic processes, statistics, optimization, and functional analysis, while also including programming, foreign languages, and humanities. It prepares students to continue their studies in engineering schools or second-year Master’s programs, particularly in fields such as quantitative finance (e.g., M2 QF), data science, machine learning (M2 MVA, M2 Data Science, etc.), and optimisation.
The academic year is divided into two semesters, Semester 1 and Semester 2. Each semester consists of blocks of compulsory and elective course units.
