M1 Biology-Health - Physiology and Physiopathology Platform (Evry Site)
The Physiology Physiopathology platform aims to give students on the Health Biology Master's course broad training in Physiology/Physiopathology and more specific training in the fields of Endocrinology, Immunology, Neurosciences and Cell Signalling. • Deepen the knowledge acquired in undergraduate courses in the fields of Endocrinology, Immunology, Physiology and Cell Signalling • Introduce/deepen other disciplines such as Oncology and Neurosciences • Give students a holistic understanding of these disciplines, offering them a wide perspective on biological issues/problems • Develop critical thinking when analysing published research results
Train students to work as researchers or research engineers in public and private organisations (large groups and start-ups), for any project based on an understanding of the physiology of living systems and human physiopathology.
Train students to acquire the language, scientific culture, and level of critical thinking required to conduct and participate in multidisciplinary and innovative projects that involve an integrative approach.
For English-speaking international students: You may apply for the International track if you graduated with a Bachelor degree, major in Biology, or if you will graduate before Sept 1st of the academic year for which you are applying.
The training acquired (theoretical knowledge and practical experimental skills) by students with the Physiology/Physiopathology platform gives them access to Université Paris-Saclay Master's (M2) disciplines in Health Biology such as Oncology, Endocrinology and Metabolism, Gene, Cell, Development, Immunology, Cell Signalling, Neurosciences and Tissue, Cell Gene & Biotherapies.
