Since August 31, 2020, all students receiving need-based grants have been eligible for the €1 meal scheme in CROUS university restaurants.
Non-grant students facing financial hardship may also apply by booking an appointment with a CROUS social worker.
To benefit from this reduced rate, you must use your Izly account as your payment method, either with your student card or via the mobile app.
To activate your Izly account, an activation email is automatically sent to all students who have paid the CVEC fee. The email address used is either the one linked to your account on messervices.etudiant.gouv.fr or your university email address.
This account can be topped up on the Izly.fr website in several ways: from €10 by bank card or from €5 by bank transfer.
From May 1, 2026, €1 meals will be extended to all students in university restaurants.
