The Boris Ephrussi course is a selective Master's within the Molecular and Cellular Biology, Microbiology and Neurosciences tracks. This course is a double degree, with students completing a 1st year Master's from the Graduate School of Life Sciences and Health at Université Paris-Saclay (Molecular and Cellular Biology, Microbiology or Neurosciences track) and a diploma from ENS Paris-Saclay.
Students enrolled in the Boris Ephrussi course have access to the 3 Master's tracks: Molecular and Cellular Biology, Microbiology and Neuroscience; within each of these tracks, they choose their teaching units and develop a personalised programme. Depending on their choice of TU, students can apply for several 2nd year Master's courses

Objectives
The BE-ENS course gives students access to all the teaching units of the Molecular and Cellular Biology, Neuroscience and Microbiology Master's tracks, as well as to certain teaching units in Plant Sciences of the BEE Master's programme. These TUs can be fully practical, or be work-study based, alternating between lectures and tutorials. Guided approaches to analysing scientific articles or attending conferences given by specialised researchers may also be proposed. All the disciplines covered in these Master's programmes may therefore be addressed. By acquiring know-how, learning methodologies and putting them into practice in the various TUs, students will be able to build and specialise their profile. The relevant choice of TUs, with a specialisation in one or more subjects, will enable students to apply for several finalities for their 2nd year Master's.
