Useful external resources

Intergovernmental expert bodies (GIEC, l'IPBES...) produce summaries of their reports for policy makers. These are valuable resources accessible to all.  You will find three of them below that fit in our themes.

This section will be completed by other sources progressively.

In 2021, the first joint IPCC/IPBES report was published. It explores the complex and multiple links between climate and biodiversity.

This 2019 IPCC report addresses greenhouse gas fluxes in terrestrial ecosystems, sustainable land use and management in relation to climate change adaptation and mitigation, desertification, land degradation and food security. Link to the Summary for Policymakers.

The last assessment was nearly 15 years ago. In 2019 for the first time it is an intergovernmental body that assesses the state and trends of the natural world, the social implications of these trends, their causes, and the actions that can still be taken to ensure a better future for all.
